St. Pierre outboxed Koscheck in all 5 rounds with his improved boxing skills. The jab was his best weapon that made Koshchecks right eye swollen and shut.
Koshcheck wasn't able to land his power right hand to St. Pierre although he was able to take St. Pierre down in some occassions but it was clear that it was difficult for him to fight because of the damage done from his swollen eye.
This was Koscheck's 2nd loss againts St. Pierre. GSP acknowledged Koscheck's toughness and for being prepared for the fight as he had a hard time taking him down and for not knocking him out.

Rampage Jackson Tells His Experience In Pride
Quintin Jackson fought Japan's Kazushi Sakuraba on july 29, 2001 in Pride 15“I remember my stomach feeling like I swallowed a brick,” Jackson recalled in 2007. “I still, to this day, think that somebody poisoned my room service or something like that. I was happy that it was my biggest paycheck to date, but I know they brought me there to lose. They made me lose all this weight when Pride didn’t even have weight classes. I knew there was no way I could win. But I knew I couldn’t turn back and not fight. I said, ‘I’ve got to go out there and put on the best show possible and do my best so I could at least make a name for myself and Pride would have me back.’
Rampage lost to Sakuraba via submission.
